Well howdy there! How're we all doing? I was hoping to get this out yesterday but I ended up spending FOREVER playing with my new toys and didn't quite get round to it. My bad. But anyway, here I am. And this, folks, is my brand spanking new Passion Planner. I'm so excited by it it's almost scary!
As I didn't discover these lil beauties even existed until March, I ordered the undated Classic planner so I could dive straight in. I also opted for the Monday start, rather than the Sunday. Personal preference here, but I cannot make my peace with a Sunday start. Sunday is the weekend. It's for sleeping and eating and hanging out, preferably under a duvet. It is not the start of the week. There's more sleeping to do.
So. I've spent the last two days basically playing catch-up with myself, as I wanted to go from the start of a month and therefore had 6 days of April back-planning to muddle through, so it's just as well I'd been keeping fairly detailed notes. On top of writing all these days out, I also started to fill in my monthly layout and set out all my 'roadmaps' and 'game changers'.
Because the Passion Planner isn't just a diary, or a journal. It's a tool to help you achieve the things you want and to keep you on track when everything gets a bit much. Since I ordered it at the beginning of last month, I started following the plan it laid out and it made one heck of a difference to what I got done in March (check out my post about that here).
So far, I'm sort of trying to get to grips with the layout and making it work for me. I'm hella envious of all those folks on Instagram who just have the odd bit of beautiful calligraphy here and a doodle or sticker there (check out #passionplanner or #pashfam and you'll see what I'm on about), but I like words. I like to know what I've done in each section of the day so I can look back in the future and be all yowzer, I actually got a lot more done than I thought! My Passion Planner isn't the most beautiful (yet!), but she's already so useful that when I leave her behind it's the same slightly lost feeling I get if I forget my phone.
How are you guys planning your days/weeks? Any top planning tips or recommendations for stationery I can add to my ever-growing collection would be much appreciated!
